Perfectly cut pieces deserve nothing less than a perfect finish. Q-Fin's machines therefore guarantee consistent quality, from the first piece to the last, at the highest speed and efficiency on the market.

Those who were at Machineering will have seen that Q-Fin's location was no coincidence. It stood side by side with LVD, which is partly responsible for promotion and distribution in Belgium. "Yet it is important for us to be present here ourselves," says Patrick van Scherpenseel. "We wanted to show ourselves and demonstrate what we can do because at more and more metal companies, consistent finishing of pieces is much needed." So there was no shortage of interest during the fair. In the next phase, metalworkers will be invited, just across the border, to Bergeijk for an extensive demo in the showroom.

Ease of use first

Q-Fin is making a difference in the market with machines built on three pillars: quality, speed and ease of use. "We want our technology to make the man's life at the machine more enjoyable and safer. Instead of having to grind pieces by hand, he can now just put them in his Q-Fin machine. He only has to enter three parameters to arrive at the correct finish or select a program. Piece of cake. And admit it, you'd much rather be standing next to a machine like that than with a grinding wheel in your hand, wouldn't you?" sums up Van Scherpenseel. 

Pleasant and safe working

Nor are they just the first best machines for deburring and finishing. That they are the fastest and most innovative machines on the market was something users could experience for themselves at Machineering. After all, there were three models ready to try out, including wet-working extraction systems. "Because health is still a concern, we notice. This is also where we make a difference with our machines. Because those who grind manually still risk inhaling harmful metal particles." ■
