Airflow guides mounted quickly and without tools on existing Rittal cooling units
Rittal, a global player in enclosure technology and IT infrastructure, offers with the air diverter a new, well thought-out solution for targeted air conduction. If hot spots develop in an enclosure due to insufficient ventilation or cooling, electronic components can overheat or even fail. The new air diverter or airflow guide, which can be easily retrofitted to existing Rittal cooling units without tools, helps prevent this.
Ideally, cold air reaches every corner of the enclosure, especially where there are hot spots. In practice, unfortunately, this is not always the rule. Targeted cooling of power electronics is necessary for long-term stable operation. With the new air guide for cooling units, Rittal offers an accessory that meets this requirement.
Thanks to the tool-free plug-and-play assembly, the air guide can be easily attached to the cooling device. In addition, it can be flexibly aligned to the left, right, top or bottom. Even devices that are already installed and in operation can be retrofitted with the accessory in no time. Thanks to the low installation depth, there is also no lack of space.
In this way, the air conductor easily and practically solves problems with air conditioning in the enclosure. The plastic accessory element is available for cooling units in sheet steel, stainless steel and chemical-resistant versions from 1 kW to 5.8 kW.
