To better meet customer needs in an increasingly competitive environment, AMADA presented new versions of the successful REGIUS / VENTIS / ENSIS fiber lasers and the benchmark punching machine EM ZRT at EuroBlech 2024.
The new in-house developed and manufactured fiber lasers with industry-leading multi-kilowatt single diode modules will be showcased with increased efficiency, higher productivity and greater profitability opportunities for customers. These are combined with AMADA's unique variable beam adjustment, AMNC 4ie control for easier operation and Laser Integration System (LIS) features for more autonomous processing.
The 3-axis linear actuator with ultra-high acceleration of the REGIUS-3015AJe, which uses AMADA's variable beam adjustment to continuously change the shape of the laser beam, features a 26 kW AMADA dual-module fiber laser that opens up new processing possibilities in the medium material thickness range. The almost instantaneous change in beam shape between groove cutting and cutting makes it possible to use the correct beam properties at all stages of laser processing.
The new 9 kW VENTIS-3015AJe has comparable power to 10-12 kW solid-state lasers thanks to AMADA's Locus Beam Control (LBC) technology and the 9 kW laser module. The ease of machining various thick structural steels, high-speed aluminum machining and the LBC flash-cut system for ultra-fast machining of small holes will benefit many customers. The laser cell will have a compact dual tower with 34 compartments, noticeably increasing capacity utilization.
The new ENSIS-3015AYour variable beam adaptor will be equipped with a 15 kW single laser module that offers the highest laser beam quality in the industry. AMADA's Fiber Silky Cut System offers stainless steel cutting capabilities comparable to CO2 -lasers and are suitable for the medical and food industries. The machine is combined with a storage tower and a new TKII removal system with advanced removal functions and a label printer, allowing part marking to be applied automatically after laser cutting but before it is removed from the sheet metal. AMADA's proven LIS systems automate previously subjective, manual operation tasks such as checking nozzle condition, centering the nozzle and confirming focus position, resulting in greater autonomy and longer production times. Automatic recovery of cut readiness after a possible collision and protective glass monitoring further enhance these highly specialized machines.
AMADA's unique, servo-electrically driven 30-ton punch press EM-3612ZRTe has an automatic tool storage with a capacity of 300 punches and 600 dies. The EM-3612ZRTe features a full coverage brushed lower tool revolver and unmatched forming capabilities, making it a highly productive proposition, especially when combined with AMADA's compact automation modules and tooling solutions. Scratch-free machining options become a reality thanks to the unique actively driven lower tooling system.
This machine, in combination with the ID-Togu tool grinder, establishes the intelligent connection between tool maintenance and automatic adjustment of the die height on the punch press, ultimately leading to significantly longer tool life.
All new AMADA laser and punching machines on display at EuroBlech 2024 are equipped with the AMNC 4ie controller, which simplifies machine operation through features such as facial recognition and videos with maintenance instructions. Seamless connectivity with AMADA's V-factory and IoT service solutions offers further opportunities to extend production time.
