The Limburg-based Pollers company enjoys an internationally reaching reputation as a reference within the mechanical manufacturing industry. And that is no coincidence. Relationship with the customer

"The basis for any good cooperation or long-term relationship is open communication with the customer, in which clear agreements are made from the outset," says operations manager Jeroen Kums. An open customer orientation that has meanwhile moved a multitude of customers from both home and abroad towards Pollers. The demand here is very diverse, Pollers does not only manufacture one-piece custom made products. One can also go there for example for fully assembled mechanical systems or machined welded parts.

Technical subject competence

"The fact that the work is carried out from A to Z in our workshops also determines our strength," says Kums. And those workshops can handle some capacity: in addition to the extensive park of machining machines, Pollers mainly falls back on highly competent professionals who know how to get the best out of the milling and turning machines. The wide dimensional range is particularly striking here; indeed, the milling workshop processes parts with dimensions ranging from 10 to even 14,500 mm. Turning, in turn, can handle workpieces as large as 4,000 mm. 

"We also offer our customers the option of having their technical project assembled here in the workshops by our specialists," says Kums. "This way, the customer benefits from the strong symbiosis between the various departments, engineers and project managers of our fine company." Pollers also has its own transportation. 

And then there is Pollers' extensive welding department, populated by all-certified welders, who handle the most diverse jobs on their welding tables - up to 14,000 mm in size. Finally, an electrostatic wet-paint line ensures a flawless finish. 

Technically involved from a to z

Moreover, the rich technical know-how allows Pollers to empathize with the specific needs of the customer from the very beginning of a new project. Thus, a personalized approach is introduced with each project, so that Pollers' specialists are already at the table from the concept and engineering phase and can weigh favorably on the project. A fruitful form of co-engineering, as Pollers immediately throws in its experience on dimensioning, material selection, surface treatment and manufacturability. 

Finally, the company also supports customers who do not have the necessary engineering potential for their spare parts or modifications. Pollers then takes the necessary on-site measurements and handles the final design and manufacturing of the work pieces.
