New solutions for sheet metal working at EuroBLECH 2024

At the EuroBLECH 2024 trade fair, BLM GROUP is presenting the LS7 sheet laser cutting system with 20 kW of power and automatic magazine in a compact tower version for 24/7 production. The new LS7 with 20 kW retains all the features of the lower-power version.

The LS7 is a compact, high-performance laser cutting machine with ultra-fast pallet change in as little as nine seconds, headstock sorting technology and dedicated Active Tools features to automatically optimize the cutting process and maximize energy efficiency. The fiber laser source allows the machine to process a wide variety of metals, including aluminum, brass, stainless steel, copper and mild steel.  

The gantry design combines aluminum and polymer concrete elements to make the machine robust and lightweight, guaranteeing excellent performance and acceleration in excess of 2G. Special attention has been paid to ergonomics and ease of use, thanks to the HMI (human-machine interface) and the windowed door next to the control console, which provides access to the work area (with the machine switched off) for cleaning or maintenance operations. 

The machine presented by BLM GROUP at the show is equipped with a gas mixing system that automatically mixes gases to further improve cutting quality and speed. The system requires no special maintenance procedures or additional installation space because it is fully integrated into the machine. Not only does the LS7 take up little space on the shop floor, it can also be equipped with various systems for automation such as automatic loading/unloading or automatic storage in the compact tower. These solutions enable higher production speeds, with 24/7 production.

- LT7 tube laser
The LT7 tube laser is the result of years of investment in technological research and continuous development of innovative software and hardware solutions. This fully automatic system can process tubes from 12 to 152 mm in diameter and weighing up to 23 kg/m, with excellent cutting performance. From the smallest to the largest diameter, all adjustments are automatic. Open profiles such as 'L', 'U' and flat profiles are also considered part of the standard operation and processed fully automatically. 

The machine on display at the show is equipped with the automatic feed unit for threaded inserts, which expands the capabilities of the laser cutting system and simplifies production by eliminating intermediate handling and storage. Also added to the output side is a robotic sorting system for employee-arm unloading of cut parts.

- LT-FREE
A 5-axis 3D laser cutting cell for machining three-dimensional metal profiles for a wide range of industries, including electric vehicles, installation engineering, motorcycles, automobiles, plumbing and furniture. The machine on display at the show is equipped with a large work area for machining shaped parts and sheet metal, as well as a robot for machining bent and hydroformed tubes in one cycle. A number of interesting additional functions for cutting process optimization and operator support will be presented for the first time at the show.

- ELECT150
Electric tube bending machine available in a left or right-hand version, for tubes up to 150 mm in diameter. The machine, equipped with the latest VGPNext programming software, enables bending operations with a high degree of difficulty and excellent surface finish. As a demonstration of this, the machine at the show bent a 110 mm diameter pipe with an average radius of only 90 mm, while maintaining an unparalleled aesthetic finish.
