Bronsema: The TopEdge has been on the market for several years to easily apply a weld edge to various materials such as steel, aluminum or stainless steel. Recently the machine has undergone a real upgrade, especially the performance for processing stainless steel has improved a lot!

The table has 28mm holes, a common size on welding tables. All kinds of welding clamps are available for clamping your workpiece. Optionally, the TopEdge can be equipped with magnets for easily securing (smaller) steel workpieces. Or opt for the vacuum version if you process a lot of stainless steel.

If you need to grind or radius a lot of weld edges, it pays to consider purchasing the TopEdge. Surely the main advantage of working with the TopEdge is the speed of operation, which provides immediate cost savings, and the light load on the operator. Grinding a large radius or weld edge with an angle grinder is taxing work. The result also depends on the skills of the grinder. The TopEdge delivers consistent quality quickly, produces less noise, hardly any dust and works quietly and safely, Bronsema says enthusiastically.

New is the option for micro-lubrication, which is especially advantageous when machining stainless steel. An oil pump atomizes a minimal amount of oil on the cutting surface of the cutter. Lubrication significantly extends the life of the cutter and produces a quieter grinding pattern. Proper adjustment of the pump prevents the environment from becoming greasy.

The depth adjustment is easily adjustable with the updated click system. Beveltools carbide milling cutters can grind the most common angles from 15° to 60°. For rounding, cutters are available for a radius of 2-8 mm.
