Quality tools, competitive delivery times
Crispyn's range of tools also includes items that are just a little harder to find on the market or that it has developed itself, such as a hex or octagon chuck or 1-2-3 blocks.

Quality tools, competitive delivery times

Crispyn Machines breathes machining. The team gets to work itself with the machines it distributes to best support its customers. Experience that it uses to further expand its offering. After all, for flawless results, tools also play a decisive role. Crispyn Machines has therefore had a web shop for years, with a dual philosophy. Ensuring that everyone can easily find their way to the right machining tools, and guaranteeing sharp delivery times. Check and check.

E-commerce even before it was the standard. That's the least you can say about the web shop that Crispyn Machines launched above the font nearly twenty years ago. The focus then and the focus today is to offer quality tools at a competitive price. "What has changed in the meantime, however, is the whole process behind the scenes. Because of our own steps in digitization, we now have a fully automated system behind it. Combined with the large stock we keep in stock, this is how we manage to send 98.5% of orders out the door the same day."

2 1
With a 98.5% score of orders shipped the same day, Crispyn Machines already scores excellent on short delivery times. This is due in part to its large inventory, Jan Crispyn reveals.

Sharp prices and large inventory

Very careful attention is paid to the range of tools on offer in the webshop. "We start from our own experience at the machines: what do you really need for machining? This has resulted in a selection of the most common tools, which we market at very competitive prices by buying in large volumes directly from the manufacturer. On the other hand, there are also items in the catalog that are just a little harder to find on the market or that we have developed ourselves, such as a hex or octagon collet holder or 1-2-3 blocks. Or take the wire cutters on offer. Tools that are expensive elsewhere and have long lead times. We have entered into discussions with the manufacturer to offer a better alternative for these. Always on the principle that the tools must add value."

Distinguished with knowledge and support

The common thread throughout the tools is quality. Great examples are the measuring tools from Dasqua or the cutting tools from Phantom and Harlingen. "We guard this very strictly by testing everything ourselves on our machines. What good is a cheap cutter if it can't achieve a long tool life?"

Incidentally, Crispyn Machines shares the resulting knowledge and experience with its customers. "With many cutting tools you will find a calculator to calculate the correct cutting speeds. For certain products, we also include instructional videos to help users quickly find their way around. And anyone who has additional questions or does not find what they are looking for in the webshop can always contact us. That service is what sets us apart from the typical webshop. We want to help our customers make the right choices as much as possible."

Doing even better

A philosophy already evident in the web shop's navigation. "Nobody starts from product names. What they do know is what they want to use the tools for. Operations and materials are therefore the starting point with us. So that we guide customers as intuitively as possible to what they really need." There they also immediately see the inventory or, if it is missing, how long it will be before they can expect the items.

With a score of 98.5%, Crispyn Machines already scores excellent on short delivery times. Yet soon it wants to do even better. By the end of next year, it plans to move to larger premises with even more options for inventory space and efficient flow.
