Since October 1, Hoffmann Group has offered the full range of ISCAR products all over Europe. The supply takes place from the central warehouse LogisticCity in Nuremberg. Both parties had already reached an agreement on this in March. That was solemnly signed by Borries Schüler for Hoffmann SE as delegate for Hoffmann Group and ISCAR CEO Ilan Geri.

The headquarters of ISCAR is located in Tefen, Israel. ISCAR is part of the IMC Group and has already established itself as one of the leading manufacturers in the global cutting tools market. The company's offering consists of a full range of tools for all machining tasks, including more than 40,000 products for grooving, turning, drilling, milling and tool fixturing. Today ISCAR is represented in more than 60 countries and has more than 7,500 employees around the world.

New Y-axis rotary holders: excellent quality and convenience

Today, the Y-axis is a standard option in most multitasking machines and optional in many new turning centers. ISCAR's Y-axis tools are extremely stable due to the chamber position, which is perpendicular to the shaft. The main cutting forces are applied in the direction of the shank on the longitudinal axis. This prevents bending of the tool even under severe machining conditions and ensures vibration-free cutting and excellent surface quality. Tool stability ensures precise cutting and reliable machining. The Y-axis tool position allows the downward discharge of long chips by gravity. Suitable for hard-to-machine materials such as stainless steel, titanium, low-carbon alloys... ISCAR's tools are designed with directed coolant from the top and bottom of the tool, ensuring better cutting performance. The new tools increase ISCAR's variety and provide excellent solutions for Swiss machining applications.
