The power of productivity 

Thousands of booths and four days of intensive product searching, networking and learning: the sheet metalworking industry is gearing up for its leading event, EuroBLECH. This show brings together the world's largest selection of sheet metal working technology in Hanover from Oct. 22 to 25. As reflected in the show's motto this year, "The Power of Productivity," visitors can look forward to a groundbreaking event at the heart of the industry, with first-class access to top suppliers, live demonstrations and world premieres.

From October 22 to 25, 2024, the 27th EuroBLECH will open its doors at the Hanover Fairgrounds. It is the world's largest trade fair for sheet metal working, covering the entire supply chain, divided into 15 different technology sectors. Visitors can look forward to an impressive number of live demonstrations and world premieres to sample the benefits of specific technologies for their own production process. Demand for booth space was high, especially from international companies. They made up more than 60% of the exhibitors. 

Smart machines, tools and IT solutions

EuroBLECH offers numerous opportunities to see innovative machines live in action. That makes a visit more than worthwhile. In fact, a quarter of EuroBLECH visitors do not attend any other trade fair. Here they find the broadest possible spectrum of technology suppliers and answers to the challenges they face. "When change comes at you fast, you have to come up with solutions even faster," said Evelyn Warwick, Event Director of EuroBLECH, on behalf of RX. "The integration of AI and Machine Learning are revolutionizing the industry, enabling unprecedented levels of precision and efficiency. Automation and robotics continue to advance, streamlining production processes and reducing manual labor, while IoT connects machines and systems for real-time monitoring and optimization. These innovations underscore the industry's commitment to meet the growing demand for customization, sustainability and smart manufacturing."

New in 2024: Guided tours for visitors

For the first time, visitors can book carefully curated tours. Under the motto, "The Power of Productivity," the organized visitor experiences focus on productivity-enhancing technology. The tours include 10-minute presentations at each stop, followed by a short question-and-answer session. You can choose from two different tours. - Tour 1 'Industrial Internet of Things (IoT)' covers key topics such as big data, remote analytics, predictive maintenance maintenance, production monitoring and parts traceability. Attendees will discover various products, tools and software to help them plan, optimize and monitor production with the goal of improving their overall productivity, efficiency and sustainability.

- Tour 2 "Automation and Robotics for Efficient Manufacturing" shows how integrated or stand-alone automation and robotic systems can streamline manufacturing operations for greater sustainability and productivity, even for small batches. These can range from handling, sorting, conveying, storage and stacking systems to robots, cobots and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

Speaker Forum for valuable insights

In addition to the innovations and numerous live demonstrations at the exhibition stands, participants can take advantage of the popular EuroBLECH 2024 Speaker Forum, two special presentation rooms for expert lectures and panel discussions. The sessions take place on all four days of the fair and offer exciting insights into the latest projects and product developments, as well as valuable networking opportunities and meaningful exchange among peers. In Forum I, topics, such as automation, robotics and cobots take center stage. Forum II focuses on digitization, industrial metaverse (AI, VR, AR, IoT) and cyber security.

Industry Awards for technical excellence

The prestigious EuroBLECH Industry Awards are making a comeback at EuroBLECH this year. Awards will be presented for the most innovative products, solutions and digitization concepts in five different categories. Winners will be selected by industry professionals through an online voting process, which starts in the fall.
