The Prima Power Robotic Press Brake bending cell exhibited at Hanover integrates the eP Genius 1030 press brake equipped with automatic tool change storage and a 7-axis robot with the connection to Night Train high-end storage solution.

Highlights of the exhibition include the new 2D laser machine Platino Linear® with Compact Server load/unload system, the Robotic Press Brake Bending Cell that integrates eP Genius 1030 servo-electric press brake with an anthropomorphic 7-axis robot, the PSBB Flexible Manufacturing Solution that integrates the Shear Genius® EVO punching + shearing system combines with the Express Bender panel bender, all coordinated by Prima Power's proprietary and comprehensive software ecosystem. Each product is designed to total efficiency to supply sheet metal fabricators, without compromising productivity, flexibility and quality

Platino Linear with Compact Server - reliable and productive solution for cost-effective 2D laser processing 

The Platino Linear 1530 2D laser machine, Prima Power's new 2D laser solution, is equipped with an 8kW fiber laser and stands out as an efficient and user-friendly solution for processing any material and shape with high cutting quality. This machine Perfectly balances Prima Power's expertise and quality with affordable investment and operating costs. The maintenance-free linear drive improves machine uptime and reduces operating costs thanks to its high energy efficiency. Robotic Press Brake bending cell - modular and integrated solution for 24/7 intensive use and quick return on investment 

The Prima Power Robotic Press Brake bending cell which was exhibited in Hanover integrates the eP Genius 1030 press brake equipped with an automatic tool changing system and a 7-axis anthropomorphic robot, those connects the press brake to a high-end Night Train® storage system to create a fully automated Flexible Manufacturing System. This setup offers versatile manufacturing with high efficiency, repeatability and intensive use for a quick return on investment by combining the flexibility of the robot with the quality of the servo-electric press brake. 

EuroBLECH 2024 will see the world premiere of the new CAM software NC Express BEND, designed specifically for bending panels.

The Robotic Press Brake bending cell is cost-effective for both small and large runs thanks to easy part programming, automatic gripper change and modular automatic tool change, which is up to 30% faster than the market average. The efficiency in unmanned production makes fully automated operations possible, eliminating all manual intervention other than removing finished parts from the work area. 

The automatic material handling by the robot includes picking up the equipment from the Night Train wagon, the centering of the part, the reverse through the Sheet Reverser (if necessary), bend and palletizing. The automatic gripper change takes place in masked time when the ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) changes the tool in the eP press brake. The Robotic Press Brake Bending Cell can be integrated into a Prima Power Flexible Manufacturing System, making a completely unmanned process arises that cutting, edging and bending of raw materials combines with intermediate and automatic handling stages. 

PSBB Flexible Manufacturing System - the market-leading solution for panel production 

The PSBB line (Punch-Shear-Buffer-Bend) is a fully integrated system which is ideal for the production of rectangular parts and thin materials. The system shown at EuroBLECH 2024 includes the combined punching and cutting system Shear Genius 1530 EVO and the Express Bender EBe 2726 FM panel bender. The PSBB Line offers integrated automation, enabling 24/7 automated production for kit, batch and mass production. By reducing low value-added manual operations, PSBB results in a four times higher production efficiency compared to conventional production cells. With a unique 40-year knowledge of technology integration Prima Power provides market-leading solutions through in-house designed and manufactured systems that fully integrate machinery, automation and software. 

The Shear Genius 1530 EVO is designed for square parts and panels and offers the lowest cost per part and highest productivity. It combines several processes, including punching, tapping, forming, marking and cutting, with up to 600 tools available in the machine without additional tool storage. This integration results in a unsurpassed productivity for rectangular workpieces With the most reliable workpiece separation for superior cut quality. With the best cutting length in its class, it reduces the number of shear impacts and lowers cycle time, delivering truly sustainable production through high plate optimization (20% better than conventional technologies), low energy consumption (25% compared to conventional technologies) and reduced maintenance. The integration of the Fast Loading Storage for sheet-by-sheet loading offers an efficient and economical solution when production calls for fast raw material changes

The bending solution integrated into the PSBB line shown at EuroBLECH is the Express Bender EBe2726 FM. This fully servo-electric panel bending machine expands production line bending capabilities with its new bending height of 264 mm (+30% compared to standard panel benders), making it even more suitable for the production of electrical cabinets, mailboxes, lockers, architectural structures and fire cabinets. The DNP (Device for Narrow Parts) option also allows narrow parts and profiles are bent. The Express Bender on display at Hanover is completely optional; its main features are advanced corner control systems, such as the Thickness Measurement System (TMS), which automatically measures flat plate thickness in hidden time, and the patented Advanced Profile Inspection (API), which applies corrections to a bend to achieve the target angle within the required tolerance.
