More efficient, safe and sustainable production thanks to new press brake series
The H-iBrake press brake series will be shown to the general public for the first time at Blechexpo. Today, this innovation remains covered for a while.

More efficient, safe and sustainable production thanks to new press brake series

The term "innovation" appears on the first page of the diary at SafanDarley. As the inventor of the servo-electric press brake, the Dutch machine builder initiated a veritable evolution in sheet metal working at the time. In the meantime, it offers a complete range of press brakes. With the new and innovative H-iBrake series of press brakes, it aims to redefine the future of sheet metal working. Advanced drive technology, increased lowering and pressing speeds, optimum precision and energy regeneration are some of the features designed to ensure increased productivity at the lowest possible cost.

At SafanDarley, they perform everything in-house: R&D and engineering, manufacturing and assembly, as well as training, help desk and service. This allows them to respond flexibly to market demands and continuously optimize existing systems or develop innovative new products. Witness to this is the H-iBrake press brake series, which the machine builder will introduce under the motto "Be the First!" at its booth 1806 in Hall 1 during the upcoming Blechexpo in Stuttgart.

More efficient, safer and more sustainable

The H-iBrake uses the latest energy regeneration technology, which ensures less heat generation and very high energy efficiency. With sustainability in mind, a new drive system with intelligent control was integrated. The entire drive system is smaller and energy consumption is minimized. This new drive system optimizes speeds in each process step and reduces cycle times.

Steps were also taken in the area of safety. Indeed, SafanDarley is introducing an adaptive safety system, which guarantees maximum operator safety and increased productivity. All machines using it are equipped with new modular support arms.

The latest drive technologies

"The H-iBrake is equipped with the latest drive technologies. Since this requires fewer components, maintenance costs are also lower. In addition, this results in unprecedented reliability and higher up-time," they indicate at SafanDarley. "The technology used covers the entire press brake range and delivers power and precision over the full range of tonnages. Whether light or heavy sheet metal needs to be processed, the H-iBrake always ensures optimal performance."

Better performance, financially attractive

This H-iBrake scores in terms of performance, but it is also financially attractive, according to the manufacturer. After all, the modular construction ensures good value for money. The initial investment is lower and so is the energy consumption, which also reduces CO2 emissions. The design focuses on the most efficient use of energy, and that not only in consumption, but also in feed-in where possible, which can significantly reduce operating costs.

Blechexpo

This new H-iBrake press brake series will be shown to the general public for the first time at the upcoming Blechexpo Stuttgart. During this exhibition, SafanDarley, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, will also introduce visitors to other novelties, such as the in-house developed software platform ASC-Control for automated solutions and EC3D for direct import of 3D files.

SafanDarley can be visited during Blechexpo in Hall 1, Booth 1806.
