METAVAK and Welding Week Netherlands successful with many innovations, knowledge sharing and international interest

The past edition of the trade shows METAVAK and Welding Week Netherlands on October 1, 2 and 3 at Evenementenhal Gorinchem was visited by 6,000 visitors. In total over 160 exhibitors presented themselves, coming from 7 different countries. More than 30 innovative products were presented and daily there were 6 knowledge sessions in the knowledge theater.

'We have experienced three fantastic inspirational exhibition days with the sector,' says Bas van Gent on behalf of exhibition organizer Easyfairs Netherlands. 'It is extra valuable to be able to welcome back Welding Week Nederland within the exhibition concept in addition to METAVAK. Both worlds strengthen each other and this edition proved that all the more. Exhibitors were given plenty of space to present their products and services, but above all to demonstrate them. This was very positively received by our visitors.'

More than 30 innovations products were presented on the exhibition floor of METAVAK, focusing on the metalworking manufacturing industry. Among these innovations were the BOLT VII -6025 12kW machine, the largest machine at the fair with two cutting tables of 6 x 2.5 meters and an innovative hydraulic change table designed for cutting heavier materials. Fiber Laser Benelux presented its innovative machine Cutlite Penta XME 3015 and also sold it directly to Buyk Constructies in Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Another notable innovation was the WMS Machinery, the most advanced CNC machine in the world with unique 3D-ROLLCAD software, automatic programming and full automation of the rolling line.

Furthermore, the Expertise Center for Precision Technology (ECP) received recognition at the fair as Scholingpool and Bedrijfsvakschool Metaal, awarded by the Training and Development Fund for Metalworking (OOM). This recognition confirms the quality of the training offer, focused on precision engineering and machining technology, and strengthens ECP's position as a leading training center in the South Holland region.
