easy separation of stacked steel sheets and easy and safe pneumatic operation.

Magnetic sheet separators find their application in sheet metal processing industries and in robotized production cells for the production of welding assemblies, among others. Robots pick up large sheet metal parts with magnetic grippers and position them on a welding table. This causes a lot of damage in a high-tech environment, where the welding table is often equipped with sensors, transducers and actuators. By using Neodymium sheet separators, the sheets are separated from each other despite the oil film after which the robot can lift them off the stack one by one. The Fail Safe sheet separator also has an optional on/off detection system.
Compressed-air operated sheet separators increase safety and reduce costs when destacking or changing a stack of steel sheets. The magnets separate oiled sheets but also do a good job when there is vacuum between the steel sheets. Or when the sheets are pre-finished or polished. Unlike fixed sheet separators, switchable sheet separators allow intermediate changes of products during a set process. When the top sheet is removed from a stack, the bottom sheet immediately takes its place. To replenish the stack of steel sheets, magnetic sheet separators can be easily switched off with a pneumatic valve. After unlocking the swing arm, the magnets rotate away, after which the stack of sheets can be easily exchanged or replenished.
