New cable spring dampers from ACE particularly versatile

This product spectrum already includes extremely low-frequency insulating air spring elements, ready-to-install rubber-metal insulators and damping mats. With the three new product families around cable spring dampers and compact springs, ACE is now expanding its portfolio with various solutions for damping and isolating vibrations and shocks. These damping solutions can be used even under the most difficult conditions.

All new product types are particularly resistant to heat, cold, acids, seawater and UV radiation. At the same time, they possess permanently high vibration, shock and impact absorption properties. Their superiority under difficult conditions is due to the material used and their unique design: they are made entirely of extremely robust aluminum alloys and are also available in stainless steel on request. In addition, they are characterized by high tool life. The user thus benefits from a major cost-benefit advantage. A further advantage is that the components are maintenance-free, have a special shape and, due to the friction of the individual wires, have above-average damping in every application.

The new products with stainless steel cables are characterized by a low inherent frequency, isolate a wide range of different vibrations and cover a load spectrum from approx. 300 g to 2,000 kg. This makes them just as suitable as damping elements for fragile hard drives and measuring equipment as they are for containers and heavy machinery, not least because by using multiple elements the possibilities are almost endless. Thus, they can also be used in control cabinets, in pumps, compressors and military applications.

The new cable spring dampers are also characterized by extensive suspension, low resonance transmission and a rapid decrease in amplitude under impact loads. Moreover, this product series shows no signs of wear after dynamic loading, even at extreme temperatures from -130 °C to 260 °C. In addition to standard versions made of stainless steel wires and with aluminum mounting strips, fully stainless steel versions are optionally available from ACE.
