New at ACE: online calculation tool for vibration damping

ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH, manufacturer of shock absorbers and vibration solutions from Langenfeld, Germany, among others, is taking another step towards further digitalization: on the website www.ace-ace.de engineers can now calculate and order customized damping solutions 24 hours a day. With a new, intuitively operated calculation tool, ACE provides optimal visualization of a wide variety of applications. Via https://www.ace-ace.de/de/berechnungen/schwingungsdaempfung.html users can calculate more than two-thirds of the most common cases independently. With this tool, ACE is expanding its range of online calculation programs in the fields of damping technology, speed control, vibration damping and safety products.

After entering a few key data, the program immediately calculates the machine's center of mass and thus the individual load per machine foot, showing all possible solutions. Robust machine feet, tapered roller bearings for vehicle cabs or vibration-isolating cup mounts: the innovative tool determines within seconds which vibration damper from ACE is most suitable. Unique in this industry is the fully graphically displayed user interface that shows the vibration dampers placed under the machine. As an interface for determining the disturbance frequency, the free app VibroChecker developed by ACE can be used in conjunction with the new program, as well as a filter that can be used to determine whether only tear-off certain or standard products should be calculated.
