The Hoffmann Group, Europe's leading system partner for quality tools, has expanded its "GARANT Master Tap" product family to include high-efficiency taps for process-safe thread cutting in stainless and high-alloy steels. The GARANT Master Tap INOX tap is now available for thread diameters from M1.6 to M24 and complies with the standards UNC and UNF No.2 to 1". The new tools are available immediately via the eShop at www.hoffmann-group.com and also available to order through our new catalog 51 starting August 1.

The GARANT Master Tap INOX is suitable for producing through-holes and blind holes with a tolerance of 6GX. Like all tools in the GARANT Master Tap product family, it offers the highest level of process reliability, performance and durability. Indeed, a special cutting edge geometry ensures evenly turned chips, which are purposefully disposed of thanks to improved chip spaces. Specially designed tooth ridges trim the chips and smooth the chip roots without annoying chips.

The cutting edges of the GARANT Master Tap INOX are also rounded for process-safe threading in stainless and high-alloy steels. As a result, they do not break out and the tool exhibits an even wear pattern. A wear-resistant HSS-E-PM cutting material and a low-friction TiAlN multilayer coating protect against premature wear.

Thanks to the expanded product range, professional users now have even more tools at their disposal for process-safe threading in rust and acid-resistant steels. Users who frequently want to machine additional materials such as steel, aluminum, brass and cast iron can also use the universal tap "GARANT Master Tap" as an alternative.
