Since September 1, 2018, Laagland has been appointed by ROEMHELD Germany as the official distributor in Belgium. The Dutch company is a supplier of CNC metalworking machines, clamping systems, machining tools and tool management solutions from quality German brands such as Index-Traub, Weiler, Soraluce, Zoller, Mapal and also the ROEMHELD group. Founded in Rotterdam in 1931 and now based in Capelle aan den IJssel, the company can present a rich expertise in the metalworking industry. Produce cheaper and faster
Just this year, Laagland supplied zero-point tensioning systems from Stark and cylinders from ROEMHELD for a project by Brinks Metaalbewerking, a Dutch manufacturer of high-quality valve blocks for hydraulic systems. They were looking for a way to completely transform their mold making. Whereas the company used to use a specific mold for each product type, they have now switched to modular molds with one basic mold and several variable molds for expansion. Laagland's expertise and extensive product portfolio provided an efficient solution that ensures that valve blocks can now be produced faster and at a lower cost.
