One of the highlights of this series is the electrically mobile workbench, powered with a built-in
battery and operated by means of the handles.

A team of consultants on business design/lean/5S

"I started in the business equipment/lean/5S department seven years ago and in the beginning I was the only technical commercial advisor for the Netherlands and Flanders. Due to strong growth, a specialist for Flanders was added after three years with Geert Libert and last year Nick Kuijpers joined our team, so that we can now divide the Dutch market into north and south. That way we can provide customers with expert advice," Marcel Stappenbeld says. "We listen to the needs of our customers and then build our story on the basis of a 3D presentation, where the customer can already see what the workshop will finally look like. If he approves that drawing, a quotation follows, after which we start production and take care of installation with our own assembly teams. We have our own factories with ultra-modern production lines, which allow us to make a cabinet from a sheet in 10 minutes. In our 20,000 m² warehouse we keep more than 2,000 different items in stock, so we can always deliver quickly."

In a workbench drawer, different layout materials can be freely combined with each other. Thanks to the uniform grid, these layout materials fit into all products of the GARANT GridLine series.

GARANT GridLine

Every year, the Hoffmann Group releases a new catalog and in it we also find the GARANT GridLine, a series of turnkey solutions for furnishing modern workshops based on clear planning and a uniform dimensional grid (G=25 mm). They are supplied as standard in the RAL colors 7035 and 7016 because they match the interior of most workshops. Of course, all other RAL colors are also available. Just like LEGO® bricks, different partitioning materials can be freely combined with each other in a workbench drawer: from small parts containers in six different sizes and designs via slot partitions and plug-in partitions to complete eForm inlays. Thanks to the uniform grid, these partitioning materials fit not only into the workbench but into all products of the GARANT GridLine series, which also includes tool trolleys and transport systems, tool cabinets, cabinets, computer workstations, closets and all kinds of accessories.

This series also includes cabinets with wing doors or sliding doors, for which Hoffmann develops lighting according to the refrigerator principle.

Some highlights

"One of the highlights of this series is the electrically mobile workbench, powered by a built-in battery and operated by the handles. At first glance, this seems excessive, but if you take ergonomics into account and want to avoid waste in the production process, it certainly represents added value. We also produce cabinets with wing doors or sliding doors, for which we developed lighting according to the refrigerator principle. Since those cabinets often end up in the dark corners of a warehouse or workshop, the lighting helps to find materials quickly," Stappenbeld explains. "We continue to develop and optimize our systems. For example, the electric corded tools in many workshops have since been replaced by battery-powered systems. Since those batteries burn more easily, the range now includes fireproof cabinets specifically for storing those batteries. We are also working on ergonomics, thinking about the comfort and health of users. For example, operators often stand still at their machines for long periods of time, which can cause a dead feeling in their legs. With specially developed mats, we ensure better blood flow, so people are less tired."
