With a large feed length of 8500 mm, the TL 8525 cuts pipes with a maximum diameter of 250 mm, round or square. Other key components include the bevel cutting head that can cut at a 45-degree angle, the front loader with 6 positions and the X-axis with 1190 mm cutting range for maximum material utilization.
The TL 8525 is built with high productivity in mind. It handles pipe lengths of 8500 mm and piece length of 3000 mm, and can clamp and cut pipes with a diameter of 250 mm. A substantial 400 mm Z-axis enables the cutting of larger profiles.
The welded steel frame construction with completely new design guarantees great rigidity and dynamics. The pre-assembled chuck and support facilitate fast, easy installation and start-up of the machine. Like the other TL models, the TL 8525 has a compact footprint and is accessible from all sides. Because loading and unloading is done on one side, the machine is optimal to fit into a smaller space or against a wall.
In order to cut the largest possible variety of profiles, regardless of their complexity, the TL 8525 has important features that are generally optional on comparable tube laser cutting machines.
A cutting head that can tilt up to 45 degrees is standard. The multi-axis cutting head can bevel round, square, rectangular and irregularly shaped tubes with high precision, handles complex profiles and channels, and is ideal for weld edge preparation in thick-walled tubes.
A 6-position front loader is also standard. A semi-automatic loading device allows for flexible loading of tubes up to 250 mm in diameter. The system loads different types and sizes, and can also be supplemented during cutting. Unlike a bundle loader, tubes do not have to be loaded and removed from the machine by package before loading a new bundle, saving time. A front loader is suitable for both small and long-term runs.
A wide cutting head range on the X-axis of 1190 mm ensures that even the part behind the support can be cut. This maximizes tube utilization and reduces waste, resulting in higher productivity and profits.
Another important element is the programmable table in the discharge zone. Through this servo-controlled table with tilt function, the cut pieces enter the 3-meter-long conveyor belt. This is divided into compartments to neatly separate and keep track of the pieces - including round or longer tubes - as they move along the conveyor.
The TL 8525 is highly automated, both tube feeding, tube centering and setting and adjustment of the chuck and support. A powerful smoke extraction system in the chuck automatically removes about 4,000 cubic meters of smoke per hour from the cutting area.
With a 2 kW IPG fiber laser source, the TL8525 can cut a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A 4 kW laser source is optional.
