Investing in the future with advanced machinery

"To achieve this, among other things, advanced machinery is needed that is ready for the future," stated finance manager Jan Mesken.

Budi of Ooltgensplaat specializes in laser cutting, water cutting and CNC bending. The company is growing and working innovatively. And with that comes modern machinery. "We recently purchased a new bending bench," Mesken says. "Our choice fell on SafanDarley's H-Brake 230T hydraulic bending bench. It is a very complete machine because of all the options. Among other things, the bending aid is very interesting. We regularly deal with heavy material. The load on the operator standing behind it is many times less thanks to the bending aid."

Start-stop system

The machine is equipped with a start-stop system. Mesken: "Just like a car standing at a traffic light, the engine shuts off after some inactivity. If you then touch a button, it starts up again. This provides enormous energy savings and less wear and tear." 

Software

The SafanDarley machines in use by Budi all use the same software package AutoPOL. "This is very advantageous for us, not only in terms of value for money, but also in terms of convenience. Once our work planners have mastered the control program, they can control multiple machines. One control system is also extremely convenient when the machines need to communicate with each other."

Friendly

Budi has been a regular SafanDarley customer for many years. "They deliver good value for money and solid machines. But I also find their friendliness and service typical," Mesken states. "In case of breakdowns, you call them and immediately have a friendly operator on the line who puts you through. In most cases they can remotely fix malfunctions. If the problem is bigger, they send a technician by quickly. The technician is always very friendly and thinks along with us as a customer. These characteristics contribute enormously to a pleasant cooperation."
