Focus on automated bending and high-speed laser cutting

Metalworkers need more flexibility and speed than ever before due to smaller runs. At Blechexpo they can find what they are looking for and learn about the LVD products that are truly moving sheet metal fabricators forward according to Industry 4.0. Dyna-Cell, the robotic bending cell, ToolCell, the bending bench with automatic tool changer, the high-speed Electra fiber laser 10 kW and the CADMAN^® software are on display in Hall 1 - Booth 1713.

Dyna-Cell unites the high-speed electrically driven bending machine Dyna-Press Pro with a Kuka robot. Dyna-Press Pro is now also available with LVD's exclusive adaptive angle measurement system Easy-Form^® Laser (EFL) for guaranteed accuracy. The robot is equipped with LVD's patent-pending universal gripper. It can bend on three sides without repacking. Because one gripper accommodates all applications, production is fast and uninterrupted. The compact Dyna-Cell automates the bending of small to medium-sized pieces in various series sizes and speeds up to 25 mm per second. An intelligent wizard ensures quick and easy programming of the cell. According to the 10-10 rule, Dyna-Cell requires 10 minutes for creation of the bending and robot program and 10 minutes for setting up and creating the first piece. Dyna-Cell can be worked with either robot or operator for greater flexibility.

Maximum productivity and perfection from the first piece

ToolCell, the bending bench with automatic tool changer, maximizes bending productivity through its integrated tool magazine. All tools are contained within the machine and automatically changed according to the job. LVD is thus able to achieve shorter set-up and changeover times. Bending becomes easier and more profitable than ever thanks to the extensive automation. The ToolCell also ensures highly reliable operation. LVD's patented Easy-Form angle measurement system^® Laser, in turn, provides real-time angle control, guaranteeing accurate bending results from the first piece to the last.

Ultra-fast cutting through ferrous and nonferrous materials

Electra FL, the ultra-fast 10 kW fiber laser cutting machine, cuts a wide range of ferrous and nonferrous materials as fast as the thermal process allows. The machine's linear-drive gantry ensures exceptionally high dynamics and fast 2G acceleration during cutting. LVD's touchscreen control is user interface makes the system easy to set up and operate.

Virtual factory provides overview and insight

CADMAN^®, finally, creates a virtual factory in which the machines and software constantly exchange data. In other words, this software gives you both overview and insight into your production. LVD's integrated database streamlines the entire manufacturing process and makes it more efficient and productive. Cadman covers all aspects of design, production organization, automatic NC file generation and management of unfolding, punching, laser cutting and bending of steel plate pieces. And with the Touch-i4, real-time information about the linked machines in the workshop is also available on the tablet.
