In April, WBM Staalservice from Stramproy launched a brand new website at wbm.eu. The new site is in line with WBM's total concept: From co-creation in engineering, cutting, setting, milling, welding, assembling to various finishing operations.
In recent years, sheet metal worker WBM has added more and more operations in-house, including milling and welding. "We have now reached the point where we can offer the entire total range under one roof, and from now on our website is fully in line with this," says Evelien Harbers, marketing and communications at WBM, about this . "The total concept has the advantage for the customer that you no longer have to buy from multiple suppliers. They get an installation-ready product that is directly applicable in their production line."
In addition, the work preparation department has been given a deservedly more prominent place on the website. "We often say; our customers understand product design, WBM knows all about its manufacturability. If we share that knowledge in the preliminary phase, we can often manufacture products more efficiently - or even cheaper. We notice during Knowledge Days with customers that this expertise is highly appreciated. Our pay-off is not for nothing We think steel. The familiar thick complex typesetting, machining of high strength and wear-resistant steel remains. Customers thus benefit from our experience throughout the process."
Finally, information about working and learning at WBM has been expanded. Evelien: "There are many opportunities at WBM for pupils, students, schools and lateral entrants. We offer Dutch for non-native speakers at our expense, we have stories of experience in our magazine Learn! collected from colleagues who have attended training courses and offer walk-in days for students, who rate the day with an 8.6 rating. All of these have been given a place. Also, our practice masters - from whom students, WBMs and lateral entrants learn the trade - can now be found on the new website."
