The clothing is certified according to the standard for high visibility clothing EN ISO 20471 and ensures high visibility for the wearer, for example with the help of horizontal and vertical reflective strips on the shirts. The clothing is designed for people in action at work. The shirts and shorts adapt perfectly to every movement. The clothing does not interfere with bending and stretching movements, and shirts stay tight in any pants. Vests and pants feature many pockets so that work tools are always within reach.

Acquisition and maintenance comply with occupational health and safety guidelines

MEWA supplies and maintains work and protective clothing. The textile service provider advises on the selection of company textiles and takes over all preparation and maintenance tasks, including pick-up and delivery service. Professional washing of clothing, which has to endure a lot in everyday life, also ensures compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines on work safety and hygiene. After each washing and drying process, MEWA also checks the clothing for damage. In cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute, the company has just developed an automated test system for signal clothing. A patent has been applied for this. The system is already in use at some locations and is being prepared for series production.
