Hit the road

Are you going on the road with the scaffolding trailer? Then it is important to check that the breakaway cable is properly attached before driving. This ensures that the trailer cannot become detached from the car. In addition, you are allowed to drive a maximum of 90 km per hour with a trailer in the Netherlands. If the trailer does not exceed 750 kilos including the load, you may drive with a B license. Finally, make sure that the weight the car has to pull is not heavier than the power the car can pull. This is indicated on the registration certificate.
