The Siemens control is now fully integrated in 7, European-built, VTC machines with movable column.

VTC users standardized on a Siemens control system can continue production with a single control solution, using Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl or 828D - high-performance industrial standard CNC controls - with a number of Mazak VTC machining centers.

Five machine variants in the VTC-800 range, manufactured at Mazak's European factory in Worcester, UK, are now equipped with SINUMERIK 840D sl control. The VTC-800 series, one of the most popular machines in the Mazak range, are 5-axis and 6-axis vertical machining centers, all equipped with large headings, making them suitable for a wide range of machining applications, but particularly relevant for machine users working with large and heavy components.
