RoboJob fires lead bullet with FANUC Grand Award

RoboJob fires main bullet with FANUC Grand Award

Two years after RoboJob won FANUC's prestigious Application Award, this time the robot specialist from Heist-op-den-Berg fired the absolute top bullet. Indeed, this edition RoboJob was allowed to receive the grand prize during FANUC's biennial Award Ceremony in Japan. A company can receive the FANUC Grand Award only once, thus receiving the highest possible recognition from FANUC.

Every two years, FANUC - the global leader in robotics - holds its Awards Ceremony in Japan. With these Awards, FANUC aims to progressive companies into the spotlight, which on global have purchased exceptional volumes from Fanuc, and in the process also excel in innovation. Two years ago, RoboJob was awarded the Application Award.  With this year's Grand Award, it fired the lead bullet.

"Actually, our relationship with RoboJob goes back to before the actual founding of the company in 2007," he said. recalls Paul Ribus. Paul is the Managing Director of FANUC Benelux and has known RoboJob's CEO - Helmut De Roovere - for more than 15 years.  "Already in 2004 Helmut was working with robots, albeit for Aluro, RoboJob's sister company that builds machines for the thermal interruption of aluminum window profiles. A few years later, Helmut and his business partner, Luc De Ceuster, then launched RoboJob.  RoboJob has emerged over the past 13 years as a unique, innovative company that has created an entirely new market segment," Ribus said.  "With the Grand Award, we not only want to recognize this innovative status, but also thank RoboJob as a long-standing, loyal partner of FANUC."

RoboJob builds standard automation solutions for CNC machines, and has been operating internationally since 2011.  In recent years, international expansion has gained momentum, with installations in Italy, Spain, Japan and the United States. "That too contributed to RoboJob receiving the Grand Award," Ribus says.  "This award recognizes exceptional performance across the board: the trajectory that RoboJob has made, the growth curve in the number of robots they take from us each year, the innovative aspect and, of course, the relation which we have been able to build over all these years.  You can only receive the Grand Award once, which is why the full picture must also be completely accurate. I am extremely proud that it is a company from the Benelux to receive this award, after previous winners from the United States and China come."

In terms of recognition, it can count, agrees RoboJob's CEO Helmut De Roovere.  "This is truly incredible! When I see which companies have received this Award before, I am immensely proud that RoboJob can join this select group. This is certainly not my merit, but the merit of a hard working team consisting of young talents and experienced guides. This Award is therefore the recognition of their talent and hard work. Fantastic that we get to end the year this way."
