These are busy times for RoboJob. Not only are there numerous fairs and events scheduled this fall, but production is also running at full speed. And that is only to the advantage of customers who want to fully engage in CNC automation.
Two months back, RoboJob was able to conclude a successful participation in the EMO fair. The Belgian market leader in CNC automation returned to Belgium with a lot of orders. Moreover, since EMO, orders have continued to come in smoothly. And that in a period of economic uncertainty.
"You would think that companies would be a little wait-and-see in these times of Brexit, the trade war between China and the United States, and with the automotive industry struggling anyway," explains CEO Helmut De Roovere. "Nothing could be further from the truth, however. Our customers are aware that they will continue to have difficulty getting CNC operators in the coming months, and that the reality of high mix, low volume will only become more concrete. So this is the time to bet on automation solutions that allow you to deal with that reality in an efficient way."
RoboJob therefore does not notice a decline in orders, quite the contrary. "The summer months are always a bit quieter, we see that every year. It has allowed us to further fine-tune our production. Now that our 'Integrated' models fully on point stand, we have also been able to fully fine-tune our internal processes. The lead time from an order to installation has thus been significantly shortened, and our customers who order today will be able to start man-arm production with our robots as early as early next year."
The company from Heist-op-den-Berg now also has more capacity to install its products: not only have more installers been hired, but many partners have also been trained and certified to successfully complete the installations of RoboJob automations.
