The manufacturing industry is running at full speed. Technological developments are proceeding at lightning speed and putting pressure on the production of systems and components. New requirements and resulting challenges follow each other in rapid succession. The Precisiebeurs on November 13 and 14 in the NH Conference Centre Koningshof in Veldhoven is the meeting place for the professional, looking for the latest technology in the field of precision mechanics, motion control, surface treatment, microtechnology, microassembly, optics ... Fair, Meet & Match and a strong international program of lectures on technology and strategy provide a unique concept.
As a visitor to the Precision Fair, you will meet more than 280 specialized companies in the fields of precision mechanics, motion control, surface treatment, microtechnology, microassembly, optics ...
Precision technology will take on even greater significance for industry in the coming years. Greater precision and far-reaching miniaturization are the reason for this. This technology is developing at a rapid pace, with the limits far from being reached. This requires specialization in many areas. Cooperation between companies and knowledge institutions is necessary to mobilize specific knowledge for new solutions. The Precision Fair has become the meeting point of companies and organizations in high and ultra precision technology. During the previous edition in 2018, 3,500 visitors were able to enjoy the innovations of 290 exhibitors and the lectures of 65 speakers. The nineteenth edition of this fair will take place on November 13 and 14 at the NH Conference Centre Koningshof in Veldhoven. "Visitors to the Precisiebeurs will meet over 280 specialist companies in the field of precision mechanics, motion control, surface treatment, microtechnology, microassembly, optics ... Furthermore, they will meet product designers, knowledge institutes and suppliers of materials, precision machines and measuring machines," explains Bart Kooijmans, project leader at organizer Mikrocentrum. "Product developers or constructors come into contact with specialists who can help with the realization of new products. For buyers, there are opportunities to get acquainted with product developers in precision technology."
This year, organizer Mikrocentrum also aims to provide a stage for young talent and young technology with poster presentations on the exhibition floor and slots with pitches of 3 minutes each in the lecture program.
Parallel to the expo, this event also offers an extensive program with over sixty lectures, the Big Science conference program, the Meet & Match by KvK and Enterprise Europe Network and the presentation of the Wim van der Hoek Award and the Ir. A. Davidson Award. The exhibition floor, the lecture program and the Meet & Match are built by industry, training institutes, government agencies, technical universities and incubator programs in the field. This year, organizer Mikrocentrum also wants to provide a stage for young talent and young technology. "We chose a construction with poster presentations on the exhibition floor and slots with pitches of 3 minutes each in the lecture program. Graduation projects, PhD projects, student teams, start-ups ... all young talent with special projects or ongoing challenges in the field of precision technology are welcome. However, all projects must be about relevant precision technologies," Kooijmans explains. "The benefits for participants are name recognition, commercial visibility and possible sponsorships. The exhibitors have indicated, that they are very interested in these talents and their projects. The most promising Young Talent Pitch will win an amount of EUR 250. We invite technical schools, universities and start-up deltas to submit up to three of their gems. Their names will already be included in the exhibition campaigns and print materials surrounding the event."
The Precision Fair thus efficiently brings together all the facets necessary for companies to continue operating at the very highest level and to the highest quality standards. Visitors there get an update on all the latest developments and can also do plenty of networking. "This event can no longer be left out of the agendas of exhibitors and industry visitors," the project manager concludes. "The exhibition floor was already fully booked at the beginning of 2019. Visitors can register for free through our website."
