Onestopshop for innovative cutting tools stands for quality, expertise and service

For accurate machining of workpieces and components, manufacturing companies must also equip their machines with the correct tools. De Fruytier specializes in cutting tools for the metal industry, but offers much more and can provide its customers with complete equipment. The family business from Beveren-Leie (Waregem) supplies products from high-quality brands and guarantees excellent service. Thus, it strives to build a long-term relationship with its customers.

Since its founding in 1970, Fruytier has grown into a wholesaler specializing in tools for machining. Today, customers can go there for cutting, clamping and hand tools, measuring instruments and solutions for workshop equipment. "We actually do everything for on and around the turning and milling machine. For example, we specialize in supplying cutting tools for the metalworking industry. Our range includes tools for drilling, milling, turning, chamfering and broaching, threading, countersinking and deburring, reaming, knurling, sawing and boring," explains case manager Griet Missinne. "However, there is more, because we can offer customers a full range of equipment, with powered tools, quick-change systems, but also specific fixturing systems, such as zero-point clamping systems and vacuum tables."

Lasting relationships

De Fruytier consciously chooses quality tools from strong brands, where quality, innovation and optimization are central. However, the company also wants to distinguish itself through service. 

"Thanks to our many years of expertise, we can provide customers with advice and support for their machining applications. After all, using the right tools can significantly optimize the efficiency of existing processes: better quality, less rework and higher productivity. The result is a machined product at a lower final cost. The total cost of ownership is ultimately what counts," Missinne continues. "In cooperation with the customer, we also develop tools according to plan. Thanks to our expertise and extensive network, we can propose a suitable solution in most cases. We strive to build lasting relationships. For example, on the one hand we work to establish permanent cooperation with suppliers and on the other hand we bind customers to us through our reliability. This way of working is the basis for our successful existence in the Benelux, now for more than fifty years."
