New building gives room to grow

There were three of them to cut the ribbon. Henry Blom, Director of Hoffmann Group Netherlands, Jan Pierik, Mayor of Borne and Robert Impler Senior Vice President Europe of Hoffmann SE officially opened the new headquarters in Borne on Friday, October 15. An ultra-modern, energy-neutral 3,000 m² building in which Hoffmann intends to continue its advance in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Henry Blom himself described it as a journey. "25 years ago we entered the market with three employees. In 2021 we reached the milestone of 50 employees and a turnover of 20 million euros, which we have doubled to 40 million euros over the past ten years. A growth that is still continuing and that we also owe to the commitment of our 90 employees." A journey that is not yet over, however. Blom hopes to continue on that momentum and achieve another doubling in the next decade.

Experience Center

The new building already gives Hoffmann the breathing room to grow further. In an area of 3,000 m², there is space for both its own employees and visitors. A state-of-the-art Experience Center is located on the first floor. Visitors can see for themselves what Hoffmann's tools are capable of on a five-axis Hedelius Acura 65 and a DMG Mori CTX 2500/700. A built-in camera ensures that no detail escapes attention. But of course, the rest of the range, which includes instruments for measuring and presetting tools, personal protective equipment and workshop equipment will also receive full attention.

Ready for digitization

Hoffmann continues to fully prepare for a digital future. The company has already done its homework with a high-performance webshop. An estimated 80% of total sales are expected to be e-commerce-related by 2027. But Hoffmann also has digital solutions in store for the production floor, including cloud-based tool management systems and a new app that gives customers insight into their production and helps save time.
