MEWA protects against heat, radiation and sparks

Welders need special, protective clothing. But someone who only has to weld occasionally obviously needs different equipment than someone who performs welding work regularly or even continuously. To meet all the different requirements, textile service provider MEWA has developed new welding protective clothing in three variants. Moreover, the new lines of the MEWA Dynamic collection combine freedom of movement, wearing comfort and attractive design.

Three variants

'MEWA Dynamic Flame' is made for people who occasionally need to perform welding work, such as mechatronics technicians, electricians and maintenance technicians. The clothing protects against small metal spatters, brief contact with flames and radiant heat.

Are you a true welder and working in machine, vehicle, steel or factory construction or shipyards? Then protect yourself better with "MEWA Dynamic Flame Extreme. The robust fabric of this collection provides extreme heat protection in thermal metal processing.

Do you need to weld on a regular basis? Even then MEWA offers the solution, as the third variant will be launched in mid-2020: "MEWA Dynamic Flame Advanced.

Optimal wearing comfort

This classification is, of course, only a rough guideline. "The choice of a particular line of protective clothing always depends on the risk analysis of the workplace," emphasizes Silvia Mertens, Product Management Manager at MEWA. The new line of heat and flame protection clothing has emerged from the further development of the MEWA Dynamic range, which is characterized by maximum freedom of movement, thorough wearing comfort and a "cool" design. "We also ensure that our protective clothing fits perfectly with normal workwear, allowing all employees of a company to wear the same look," adds Silvia Mertens.

Textile Sharing

MEWA offers the protective workwear in a full-service Textile Sharing System. Thus, business owners and logistics managers save on the costs of purchasing, storage and textile care. Moreover, they do not have to worry about constantly adjusting requirements, for example, when someone on the team needs a different pair of pants or when new employees are hired.
