LVD LEADS WITH SMART BENDING TECHNOLOGY

At TechniShow, LVD is focusing on smart bending and the benefits of connected manufacturing processes with the Ulti-Form robotic bending cell, nominated for the TechniShow Innovation Awards 2022 in the "Flexible Manufacturing" category, the electrically driven press brake Dyna-Press Pro with the Easy-Form® Laser angle measurement system, and the CADMAN® suite, a complete family of software modules to program and streamline product flow. "ART TO PART" IN 20 MINUTES OR LESS

LVD takes smart, automated bending to a new level with Ulti-Form. The bending cell smoothly processes small and large runs with equal efficiency, high productivity and consistent accuracy.

Ulti-Form goes quickly from "art to part," from drawing to finished piece, and requires no robot teaching. CADMAN-B automatically calculates the optimal edge program and imports all data into the robot software CADMAN-SIM. SIM calculates gripper positions and the fastest, collision-free robotic path and feeds this information back to B so the operator only has to work with one program.

LVD's universal gripper fits different geometries and automatically adapts to workpiece dimensions. So there is no need to invest in different grippers and no time is lost in gripper changes.

Ulti-Form combines a 135-ton press brake with built-in tool changer and an industrial robot. The cell bends pieces from 50 x 100 mm to 1200 x 800 mm, weighing up to 25 kg.

The electrically driven press brake Dyna-Press 40/15 Pro efficiently bends small parts at speeds of 25 mm per second. This results in more pieces at a lower price per piece. The electric ram ensures a smooth transition from closing to working speed and reduces energy consumption.

This 40-ton press brake has a working length of 1530 mm and an accurate five-axis back gauge for a range of applications. Equipped with Easy-Form® Laser, the machine guarantees the highest accuracy. SOFTWARE OPTIMIZES PROCESS FLOW
