Holland Motion Group (HMG) and Comvoned have officially acquired the Tilburg-based company Hydro Vasli. With this acquisition, HMG strengthens its position in the southern Netherlands and increases its capacity in cylinder technology and hydraulic service.
Hydro Vasli, founded by Herman Bolenius, has been active in hydraulic cylinders, hose assembly and components for more than 30 years. The acquisition came about after an intensive one-and-a-half-year process, guided by Leo Voogd of Comvoned, also a co-shareholder in Hydro Vasli. "Trust was the key from the first moment of contact," said Bram van den Nieuwboer, managing director of HMG.
Both companies share a clear vision: a flat organization, employees on one, and growth through collaboration. "The acquisition provides economies of scale, knowledge exchange and broader service provision for customers. We can now offer national coverage while maintaining Hydro Vasli's informal, customer-oriented approach," Leo Voogd adds.
This step creates an organization capable of staying close to the customer and facilitating them in a way the customer demands. Thanks to the combination of a strong local presence, technical expertise and short lines of communication, a solid basis is created for further growth within the Benelux market and beyond.
For employees, this means more advancement opportunities and a more solid structure. For the market, the combination offers a powerful player in the highly fragmented drive technology sector.
We look forward to the future, together with the team at Hydro Vasli, with whom we will fulfill our growth ambitions in the coming years, full of energy and ambition.
