Anyone who wants to achieve a good end product must have access to reliable machinery. They have that at Wouters Cutting & Welding well understood. The company has been in business for more than 25 years, supplying welding and cutting machines to major players in the metal industry. Naturally, it is important to know what you are getting before you purchase something. That is why Wouters Cutting & Welding Demo Days on June 5 and 6.
Wouters Cutting & Welding is an established name within the Benelux as a dealer of high-quality CNC cutting systems and welding solutions. From its offices in Turnhout, the company offers a wide range of high-quality machines from MicroStep, Swift-Cut, Pema and HGG. Construction, petrochemistry, machine building, offshore and energy, transport, shipbuilding ... every sector finds its way to the expert in CNC cutting machines. Schools, too, for that matter.
"What sets us apart from other companies is service orientation," says Savannah Geluykens, inside sales & marketing at Wouters Cutting & Welding. "We try not to think in standards, but to do everything tailored to the customer. Good after-sales service is also part of that." Another differentiating factor lies in the quality of the machines supplied. "We want to deliver good, high-quality work so that less post-processing is needed after the machines are used," says manager Nic Wouters. "Less post-processing means lower costs and therefore more efficient processes."
Last year organized Wouters Cutting & Welding for the first time a Demo Day. On this day, both existing and new customers are welcome to take a look at the state-of-the-art demo room and the machines the company offers. "The reason we approach it this way is because we find that trade shows are not always convenient for us," Geluykens says. "By displaying our machines at our own location, we save a lot of logistical work and we can also demonstrate everything in the best possible way." The big difference from the previous edition? This year puts Wouters Cutting & Welding open its doors for not one, but two days. "The first day is specifically for students pursuing technical degrees," Geluykens explained. "A lot of sixth- and seventh-grade classes from technical schools in the area are already registered. For the day for students, the focus will be more on learning basic techniques, less on the machines themselves."
A day later, on June 6, all (future) customers are then welcome. "We try to give mainly practical workshops on this day," Geluykens explains. "Here we address themes or problems that arise in the sector, and how we can offer a solution with our machines. Interesting also for the operators themselves, because of course they have to work with them. We hope that everyone who goes home here at the end of the day will have an answer to their questions. We will make it an inspiring and enjoyable time in our new demo room."
