Sustainable plastic and disposable plastic: still a world of difference

Those who prefer durable plastic to single-use disposable packaging for handling their products are not only thinking about the environment, but are also reaping many benefits themselves. They are reusable, have a longer life and are more robust, making them easier to transport. For years, Plastibac has been developing and distributing packaging and load carriers made of high-quality and durable plastic, which is 100% recyclable. Some of the family-owned company's products are themselves made of recycled plastics.

Plastibac develops and distributes durable plastic packaging and load carriers for professional use in warehousing and logistics, warehousing, waste management and purely industrial applications: warehouse bins and toolboxes, stacking bins, pallets and construction buckets, mixing bins, euronorm crates and pallet boxes, waste containers and sorting bins, drums, jerry cans, intermediate bulk containers (IBC) ... "We sometimes get asked why we still offer our products made of plastic today, when it seems so harmful to the environment," says marketing manager Robbie Naessens. "However, people don't distinguish between disposable plastic and durable plastic. They may be the same basic matter, but there is still a world of difference. One by one, our reusable load carriers consist only of high-quality and sustainable plastics, which are perfectly usable in the circular economy, which aims to reduce the use of natural resources, promote recycling and reduce litter."

Family-owned Plastibac products are made of durable plastic and cannot be compared to disposable plastic. They are 100% recyclable.

Several economic benefits

All Plastibac plastic products are 100% recyclable. The manufacturer also encourages its customers to use packaging and load carriers correctly and sustainably in the first place, as well as to recycle them afterwards. Moreover, the specialist's current range already includes many products that are themselves made of 100% recycled plastics. "Reusable plastic packaging and load carriers offer several economic advantages," Naessens points out. "Their intrinsic sturdiness results in a longer lifespan than cardboard, for example, and reduces the demand for natural raw materials, such as wood. They are light at the same time, making them easier and cheaper to transport."
