Defense chooses SafanDarley: 11 press brakes for modernization of machine park 

The Ministry of Defense chooses SafanDarley as its partner for the supply of 11 press brakes. After a careful and intensive tender process, SafanDarley was the best to meet the set criteria. 

This involves 10 E-Brakes and 1 H-iBrake. The machines will be placed in the metalworking departments of 10 Defense locations throughout the Netherlands and will be used to replace the existing machinery. 

The electronic press brakes are going to provide shorter cycle times, more favorable energy consumption and significantly lower maintenance costs compared to traditional hydraulic press brakes. 

The H-iBrake, with higher tonnage for bending heavy sheet metal, is designed to take corporate production to the next level and be successful at the lowest possible cost. This is achieved through advanced drive technology, increased lowering and pressing speeds, optimum precision and energy regeneration, among other things. 

The order includes not only the supply of machines, but also a complete training program for the employees involved and a long-term service contract.
