Brand new welding training center to build a successful future together

Continuously increasing the performance of your business is a must. Standing still is going backwards. Linking new machine investments to well-trained employees plays a crucial role in this regard. Consequently, human capital is invaluable. Welda wants to support its customers in this with the establishment of the Welda Academy. This welding training center in cooperation with the VCL is the ideal location to train the welders of the future.

The list of bottleneck occupations confirms the shortage of technical profiles. It therefore remains a major challenge for employers to find enough suitable workers with the right technical background. In addition, manufacturing companies - and certainly smaller SMEs - are faced with more stringent requirements from their customers, but sometimes lack the right know-how and, above all, the time to meet all the requirements and current regulations.

Ten state-of-the-art equipped welding booths

Welda also wants to be a support for its customers in this respect and is very proud to present 'Welda Academy', its brand new training center and a unique collaboration with the VCL (Continuation Center for Welders). With the creation of a brand new welding training center, companies from the East Flanders region get the support they are looking for. Welda offers training courses with VCL instructor or you can rent the theory & practice rooms with your own instructor. Welda Academy has a brand new and professional welding infrastructure suitable for both education and business. Ten state-of-the-art equipped booths are provided, a preparation room and a modern theory classroom equipped with all meeting facilities. Welda's mission will be accomplished only if the objectives below are achieved:

Unique collaboration with the VCL

The VCL, with over forty years of experience by now, can take on the targeted training. By means of an experienced welding instructor and work planner who personally guide your welders during intensive training. On Fridays there is always a certification moment provided under the supervision of SGS. Welding training courses are subsidized by the Flemish Community allowing you to make use of the SME portfolio.
