parts2clean 2023: With the right cleaning process to optimal product quality, high economic efficiency and sustainability

Today, component cleaning is a quality- and cost-relevant production step in all sectors, the importance of which is constantly increasing. The competitiveness of companies will therefore depend even more in the future on meeting the high requirements for raw material and energy efficiency and component-specific cleanliness. As an information and purchasing platform with the most complete product range worldwide, parts2clean offers the appropriate solutions for this. The fringe program of this 20th international trade fair for industrial components and surface cleaning, which will take place from September 26 to 28, 2023 at the Stuttgart trade fair complex, also offers information on trends, innovations and benchmark applications.

Customized and new components, changed production and coating technologies, innovative materials and material combinations, the ongoing digitalization of production - these and other trends also require new and customized cleaning processes for industrial component and surface cleaning. In addition to particle contaminants, increasing attention is being paid to film contaminants, which must be removed reliably and efficiently. At the same time, increasingly stringent energy efficiency and climate protection targets must be met.

Solutions for all industries and applications

"The exhibitors at this year's parts2clean present optimally adapted and future-oriented solutions for these increased requirements," reports Christoph Nowak, Project Director at Deutsche Messe AG. "These include developments in wet chemical processes and dry cleaning technologies, as well as innovations for improved energy and resource efficiency, increased economic efficiency and flexibility, and the integration of component cleaning into connected production processes." In addition, as part of this anniversary edition, the topic "High Purity" will be added to the parts2clean core areas. This will include, for example, special solutions for the semiconductor sector, medical technology, sensor technology, electronics and various electromobility applications. The leading international trade fair for industrial component and surface cleaning will take place from September 26 to 28, 2023, at the Stuttgart (Germany) trade fair complex.

Our exhibitors' presentations, covering all sectors, technologies and materials, are framed by a program perfectly tailored to the current challenges in component cleaning. "With knowledge, know-how and solutions for process design, adaptation and optimization, these are competitive topics that are not addressed to this extent anywhere else," notes Christoph Nowak.

Bilingual expert forum - basic knowledge and value-added trends

The bilingual expert forum of the parts2clean has been one of the highlights of this international trade fair for many years. Renowned specialists from research, science, trade associations and industry offer knowledge, know-how and benchmark solutions in simultaneously translated (German English) lectures this year on the following topics: Fundamentals of industrial cleaning processes - this includes presentations on the operation of cleaning processes and media, drying processes, properties and suitability of product carriers and cleaning-oriented design of components. The "Monitoring and Control of Cleaning Processes" session deals, for example, with process automation, the use of AI (artificial intelligence) for cleaning and analysis processes, and integration into plant automation systems. Within the "Cleaning for Electronics/Electronics" presentation block there is room for practical examples and special solutions, as well as fundamental challenges and possibilities and limits of cleaning technology. "High Purity Applications - Challenges and Solutions" deals with applications and innovations for e.g. EUV lithography, semiconductor manufacturing, microtechnology, medical and pharmaceutical technology. When it comes to demonstrating the achieved technical cleanliness, the presentations around the topic "Monitoring and analysis of cleaned surfaces" offer detailed information and solutions.

Process chain Technical cleanliness

How can the required cleanliness of components in the process not only be achieved but also verified? Answers to this question are offered by the special forum "Technical Cleanliness" organized together with the CEC (Cleaning Excellence Center). Here the focus is on methods and applications of innovative technologies for component cleanliness and the associated quality assurance.

FiT2clean Award and special presentation room

Also, the German trade association for industrial parts cleaning (Fachverband industrielle Teilereinigung e.V. - FiT) is represented again with a special presentation area and an interesting program. A highlight will certainly be the presentation of the FiT2clean Award on September 28. This prize, to which 10,000 euros is attached, will be presented for the second time as part of the parts2clean. The prize is awarded annually for outstanding achievements and innovative solutions in the field of industrial parts cleaning.
