Anyone wishing to attend Metavak 2025 in Gorinchem can register again starting in June. Of course, a lot of hard work is already being done behind the scenes to flesh out the national trade event for the metalworking manufacturing industry. Marketing event manager Dési Toornvliet and account manager Simone Gremie share their plans that focus on inspiration and innovation, but above all on making contact. Accordingly, the 20th edition includes activities with promising names such as Metal Art, Future of Metal and Masters of Metal.
A trade fair that has managed to captivate and enthuse visitors and exhibitors for the past twenty editions clearly fulfills a need. At Metavak this goes even further, Dési Toornvliet knows: "Besides the fact that fellow professionals from the metalworking manufacturing industry can get acquainted with new developments here, this fair has many extras. It is easily accessible, well organized, convivial and also the preconditions are right. For example, booking a booth with all-in service is affordable, you can easily park here and the catering is free and more than fine. All this together creates an atmosphere of trust, a sense of doing business and above all making contact."
During the 'Masters of Metal' knowledge program, technical issues such as automation and digitalization are amply covered. But also themes such as 'passion for technology' linked to the labor shortage. Gremie: "This gives the fair a broader meaning and these three days are pre-eminently suitable for meeting possible new employees. For example, during the student day on Tuesday."
No doubt visitors will also get inspiration from artist Patrick Visser who, under the heading Metal Art, shows in a very special way how he "recycles" metals. His passion is to bring dead, cold discarded metal to life. Visser: "I use all sorts of things. Rods, sheet iron, rebar, wrenches, pincers, scissors. Discarded material that I transform into JunkArt."
Finally, the enthusiastic team mentions "Clash of the grinders. A competition organized by Metaaltechniek and Metavak that highlights the best grinder in the Netherlands. Toornvliet: "How nice it is as a company to hear that the best grinder in the Netherlands works for you."
Via the button below you can still book a booth for the METAVAK 2025. Of course only when they are still available.
Now that the content outlines of METAVAK 2025 are beginning to emerge clearly, the team is working hard to finalize them so that participants can register fully informed from June. Gremie: "Right now we are ahead of schedule in terms of exhibitors. You notice that companies are learning and starting to use the new function of the exhibition floor. It is no longer seen only as the place where deals are closed, but especially where contact is made, brainstorming and information is exchanged. About practical solutions with immediately applicable insights or about current topics such as cost savings and minimizing waste within the production process. A place where you meet new people who will inspire you and help you on your way. Also during the round table discussions we organize at the end of each exhibition day, where a professional moderator leads participants through current topics. This is the opportunity to enter into conversation with parties from the sector who each speak from their own knowledge and experience. You can walk in freely, actively participate or let the conversations sink in with a drink."
