New diamond cutting disc DT 900 ACR

There are situations where there is no time to change tools. Not only in rescue work, for example, but also in extensive construction or demolition work: a diamond cut-off wheel suitable for cutting almost all materials provides flexibility and time savings. Starting in spring 2021, Klingspor will therefore present the first "all-purpose cutter" among diamond cut-off wheels: the DT 900 CR cut-off wheel.

With the DT 900 ACR, Klingspor offers customers a new high-light in the field of diamond tools. "There is a great demand in the trade for universally applicable diamond cutting discs. Users who need a so-called "rescue" disc want it from a manufacturer they trust. We are that manufacturer. Indeed, at Klingspor, users can be assured that the products meet the highest quality and safety requirements." explains Oleg Bergheim, product manager for diamond cut-off wheels at Klingspor, the entry into the new product category.

"All Cut Rescue" - suitable for virtually any material

The DT 900 ACR is suitable for cutting the most diverse materials: with this disc, cutting is possible of concrete, steel, electrical cables, rebar, wood, rubber, bitumen, glass, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, PVC pipes and much more - and that both wet and dry. In the process, the disc runs extremely quietly, remains cool and retains its aggressiveness even after prolonged use. The DT 900 ACR is perfectly suited for use on gasoline-powered machines or the hand-held angle grinders, thus covering a huge variety of application possibilities. The new all-round cut-off wheel from Klingspor is available in diameters 115, 125, 230, 300 and 350 mm. Needless to say, the product meets the well-known and valued safety requirements as you have come to expect from Klingspor. The wheel is also oSa certified.

10 mm occupation - for long life

What is special about the DT 900 ACR is its manufacturing process. The diamond "segments" are soldered in vacuum. As a result, the diamonds lie freely on the stem blade, significantly increasing the cutting performance. Thanks to this complicated manufacturing process, a very stable connection between the blade and diamond is achieved, which has a positive effect on tool life. At 10 mm, the DT 900 ACR features a relatively high setting that ensures a longer service life.

The DT 900 ACR will be available through tool retailers and hardware stores starting in spring 2021.
