The German family business Hoffmann operates in fifty countries. Sixty thousand order lines are processed every day in the distribution center. Of these, 40% arrive online. Eighty tons of tools arrive daily at the distribution warehouse in Nuremberg. A similar quantity also goes back to the customers within 24 hours. The product range is broad: machining, clamping technology, measuring technology, grinding and cutting technology, screw tools, gripping, cutting and impact tools, hand and assembly tools, operating and workshop equipment and personal protective equipment. "The service orientation in particular makes the difference," says sales manager Patrick Dehaene. "We have also set up our organization for that. In addition to the people in the field, we have specialists who are deployed, in the areas of machining, measuring, e-business, business design in combination with 5S and lean and for personal protective equipment. Hoffmann is sailing its own course. Many products are marketed with its own private label under the name Garant. A conscious choice, because each manufacturer has its own specialties and we market these under our own brand name. Within the Hoffmann Group, 120 technicians, product engineers, are working daily on development within our product groups."

Manufacture of profiles in perfection
With the total range for stabbing and broaching profiles on lathes and machining centers, GARANT offers highly productive and process-safe tools with precise dimensions, for the complete machining. Hexagon, square and Torx^® profiles are manufactured in seconds. The concentric motion (tumbling) creates the desired profile in just one operation. Conversion of workpieces on special machines such as reaming or broaching machines and outsourcing to suppliers is eliminated. The advantages at a glance:

Full speed ahead
The Hoffmann Group is launching a new product family, GARANT Power Q. These new high feed milling cutters offer extremely large machining volumes with high process reliability. The GARANT Power Q is characterized by enormous product diversity with four possible shank adaptations (weldon, cylindrical, threaded or bore), wide range of milling heads from ø16 to ø100 mm and new inserts in three system sizes (XDM.06, -09, -12). They are extremely stable and powerful thanks to their newly developed geometry. Suitable for machining steel, hardened steel, stainless steels and titanium. This allows Hoffmann to reliably handle all milling operations even at large projection lengths. In addition, the GARANT Power Q is very robust and durable, as the tool is protected against corrosion and chip damage by a hard nickel coating. Should problems nevertheless occur, the customer can return his damaged or worn milling head within one year and will receive a new one free of charge. All the customer needs is the Powercard, which he automatically receives with the purchase.

Second design award for GARANT ToolCar
The tool trolley from the new GARANT GridLine series was honored with the Red Dot Award in the "Tools" category. Competitors from 59 countries entered the competition with a total of about 6,300 items. The organizational talent on wheels not only offers a progressivevend appearance, as well as impressive ergonomics and convenience. The side pocket is centrally lockable and includes a perforated panel to which GARANT Easyfix brackets and hooks for tools can be attached. A power supply unit can also be placed in the side compartment. This can provide power for working power tools and for lighting. An ergonomically shaped push handle and sturdy low-noise wheels make the ToolCar easy to move, even on uneven floors.
