Our history and culture
Founder Rien van Gool laid the foundation in 1984. In those more than 40 years, the family business has been built up year after year to where we are today. The result is loyal relationships with customers and suppliers and a close-knit team of employees on whom we can build.
Van Gool is a family business that has become an established name in lifting and hoisting technology, serving sectors such as construction, offshore, crane rental companies, transport and construction. Our strength lies in our flexibility and quality. We can switch quickly and respond directly to the specific needs of the customer. We deliver high quality products from established brands. Personal contact, our customization and product portfolio have earned us a strong position in the market.
We work as a team, everyone in the company is fully committed. We go for it and together we think about the developments in our industry and the opportunities it offers us. At the same time, we ensure that our existing customers can continue to count on the quality and service they are used to. We are truly a team company and this lifts us to a higher level!
At Van Gool, we offer various services and products. For example, we perform testing and inspection work, and we also have a sales division with a number of exclusive brands. A recent addition is the brand Tecnomagnete, of which we are the exclusive dealer in the Netherlands. "These are high-quality lifting magnets, suitable for moving ferromagnetic materials safely and efficiently. From hand magnets to permanent electromagnets, you've come to the right place for this with us."
Another important spearhead within our product range are Straightpoint's load-compression cells, products for accurately measuring the mass of the load to be lifted or hoisted. After all, "You have to know the load. Safety is paramount in our industry. Only if you know what you are lifting can you work responsibly.

Everything under one roof. From inspection to purchase, rental and advice; we take the work off your hands. Quickly, expertly and with an eye for detail.
Certified expertise. Our professionals, inspectors and service technicians are EKH and VCA certified. They work in our workshop in Beverwijk or come to your location.
Sustainable solutions. Quality is paramount and if something does fail we repair it whenever possible. Together we save costs and waste, which is good for you and the environment.
