Automation and robotization are important for increasing the profitability and competitiveness of manufacturing companies and ensuring that they can respond flexibly to sudden fluctuations in series sizes and delivery times. RoboJob is the specialist in the automation of CNC machines for small and medium series. With the Tower, the company developed a revolutionary total solution for loading and unloading CNC-controlled turning, milling and turning/milling machines.
RoboJob has specialized in the development and production of automation solutions for small and medium-sized series for twelve years. With more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and more than forty years in machine building, the company knows the market inside out. A team of seven software engineers and eleven experts in mechanics and electronics work together with the customer's operators to convert their requirements into suitable solutions. This resulted in products such as Turn-Assist, Mill-Assist, Racks and Tower, which are still being further optimized.
With the Tower, RoboJob introduced an absolute first at EMO 2017, a revolutionary total solution for automatic loading and unloading of CNC-controlled turning, milling and turning/milling machines. "With this launch, we then took the first steps toward further automation of our industry. We have since further developed the prototype in terms of mechanical and electrical aspects, but especially in terms of software and programming. In doing so, we could fall back on the experience we gained during the first fifteen installations of the system," says CEO Helmut De Roovere. "Two years later, our Tower is a mature product, available in two standard versions. With the Tower Essential, workpieces as well as pallets can be loaded and unloaded, while with the Tower Advanced, single pieces and series can be produced interchangeably, as the fixtures and grippers can be interchanged." RoboJob will display this Tower and its other automation solutions at booth A46 in Hall 27 during EMO. A Turn-Assist 200i in combination with an EMCO turning machine will be demonstrated at the stand of the new Austrian dealer EMCO GmbH.
