German Design Award 2022: GARANT products once again win prizes

As in previous years, GARANT brand products impressed the jury of the German Design Awards with their sophisticated functionality and attractive appearance. The versatile GARANT Uni Line hole wall system, the GARANT Comfort safety glasses and the mobile slide grinder GMT35 all received the coveted "Winner" award. In addition, the GARANT Automation Loading System BASIC, which enables the unmanned loading of machines, received a "Special Mention."

In the "workshop and tools" category, the modular storage system GARANT Uni Line has won the German Design Award 2022. The perforated wall system from the Uni Line product line is characterized by clear design lines and is multi-purpose. GARANT Uni Line is available as a slim column (Uni Panel), double-walled column for installation in rows or as a room divider (Uni Wall) and as a service tower (Uni Tower). The perforated walls are perfectly suited for Easyfix hooks and holders. In addition, the system can be expanded with drawer units, wing doors, shelves and signage in the form of a colored top with various pictograms. GARANT Uni Wall and GARANT Uni Tower are also available as mobile versions.

In the same "Workplace and Tools" category, the GARANT Comfort safety glasses were also declared the "winner." The half-frame glasses impress with their sporty multifocal design, anti-fog lenses, adjustable narrow temples and soft pressure points. The design can be easily combined with hearing protectors and safety masks and offers a very high level of wearing comfort, even with prolonged use.

The mobile GARANT vibratory finishing machine GMT35 came out as the "Winner" in the "Industry" category. The machine enables extremely efficient fine grinding of metal or plastic parts in batches of up to 500 pieces. The trough vibrator has a capacity of 35 liters and can be divided by a partition to perform two work processes in parallel - saving time and energy. Thanks to its compact design, closed water circuit and sturdy wheels, the machine can be pushed to any location.

Last but not least, the new GARANT Automation loading system BASIC was awarded a "Special Mention." The system enables automated loading of machine tools with unmachined parts. The robotic arm can handle parts weighing up to ten kilograms and can also be used very well with older machines. Modern safety technology, low space requirements and ease of maintenance round out the overall package.
