TechiShow the trade fair for production technology, is moving to August 30 to September 2, 2022. The Federation of Manufacturing Technology (FPT-VIMAG), owner of the TechniShow, and the Royal Jaarbeurs as organizer have decided this in close consultation. ESEF Maakindustrie, the trade fair for engineering, product development and subcontracting, is also shifting to these dates. Both exhibitions were scheduled for March 2022, but due to the long delivery times of machines combined with uncertainty about the duration of the government's current COVID-19 measures, this decision has already been made now.
André Gaalman, president of FPT-VIMAG: "FPT-VIMAG has been organizing a successful TechniShow for its members and the industry for 65 years. In 2022 we will do so again, taking into account government regulations and safety of our people."
Albert Arp, CEO of the Royal Jaarbeurs: "We noticed too much uncertainty in the market about the TechniShow and the ESEF Maakindustrie in March given the long delivery times for the exhibitions. Fortunately, we are good to move to a date in the fall of 2022. Both sectors are really on the rise and really want to see each other live again given the huge opportunities in the sector. With the move, we certainly have more guarantee that we can put on a show where everything can be properly admired and the good conversation can also take place in a casual way."
ESEF Maakindustrie is also shifting to August 30 to September 2, 2022. Richard Schuitema of the Koninklijke Metaalunie: "Taking the decision now to move the ESEF Maakindustrie and TechniShow shows realism and also courage. At the same time, it gives more certainty to the exhibitors that they will be able to safely participate in the fair and receive their relations at a later time."
Through the websites of both fairs, www.technishow.nl and www.maakindustrie.nl, information can be obtained for exhibitors and visitors on how trade show organizers are facilitating the shift.
The Jaarbeurs considers for each fair or event, in close consultation with the authorities, whether the meeting can take place safely. More information about what the Jaarbeurs does in this area can be found at www.jaarbeurs.nl/veilig.
