Plastic pallets as a sustainable alternative to wooden pallets

Although we still see traditional wooden pallets very often, companies with plastic pallets are increasingly opting for a more durable alternative. After all, these load carriers are characterized by a longer lifespan. They do not absorb water and are also lighter, more hygienic and easier to maintain. Plastibac offers a wide range of user-friendly plastic pallets for professional use in a wide variety of applications. All products are also 100% recyclable, so they fit perfectly within the circular economy.

Those who prefer to work with wooden pallets must take into account that, as a rule, they can only be used for a limited number of transports. Therefore, they have to be replaced quickly, which is not obvious in times of great scarcity of materials and unseen price increases. With the pallets in pure or recycled plastic, Plastibac offers a sustainable alternative. "Our range includes lighter export and comfort pallets, as well as sturdy premium pallets and seamless hygiene pallets, aimed at the pharmaceutical and food industries. All products are available in the most common sizes and with different carrying loads. With the Premium range, we offer solutions for the metal processing sector, where it is often necessary to carry and transport heavier parts," says Business Unit Manager Andi Vertriest. "These pallets are for intensive use, impact resistant, low maintenance and in most cases easy to repair. Unlike wooden pallets, users should not fear splinters. Often they can be produced with edges or anti-slip coating, or in a custom color."

100% recyclable plastics

Besides these pallets, Plastibac offers many other reusable plastic load carriers for storage and logistics, warehousing, waste management and other industrial applications. "Our solutions do not consist of disposable plastic, but one by one of quality and durable plastics, which guarantee a long life span and are 100% recyclable," says Marketing Manager Robbie Naessens. "We encourage our customers to correctly use and recycle stacking bins, drums ... in rigid plastics. Many of our products themselves already consist of recycled plastics, making them perfectly usable in the circular economy."
