LVD receives international innovation award for robotic folding cell Ulti-Form

LVD accepted the coveted Blechexpo award at the Blechexpo international trade fair in Stuttgart. Blechexpo is a major trade fair in Europe and is also high on the list of sheet metal working technology fairs worldwide. The robotized bending cell Ulti-Form, which was presented for the first time at the fair, won the prize in the punching and forming category, awarded by the German magazines Blechnet and MM MaschinenMarkt. At the EuroBLECH trade fair in 2016, the company also won an award for its adaptive bending technology Synchro-Form, used for bending aircraft fuselages and telescopic cranes.

International Innovation Award

The leading magazines Blechnet and MM MaschinenMarkt belonging to Vogel International Communications focus on relevant topics and technologies from the manufacturing industry including the entire process of sheet and tube machining. They presented the "Blechexpo Award" for the fifth time for the most innovative products, solutions and digitization concepts of the International Trade Fair for Sheet Metal Processing in three categories: Punching and Forming, Cutting Technology and Joining and Surface Technology. A jury of editors from Blechnet and MM Maschinenmarkt judged the products on their degree of innovation, added value for the user, unique feature of the solution and price/quality.
