Fresh start Toolmanagers

With the familiar service, but a new company name, KMWE Toolmanagers and KGS Tools from Eindhoven are moving into the future. Tuesday, April 8, the new name Toolmanagers and the accompanying website will be www.tool managers.nl active. The Brabant family business is thus making a new, fresh start.

For years, the name 'tool' has recurred in the companies and concepts that fall under KMWE Toolmanagers. With the re-sharpening service Toolgrind, standard tools in the Toolshop concept and the configurator 24HSpecialTools, the name 'Toolmanager' was a logical new title for the company says director Jorg Michiels.

New generation

Jorg: "In 1992, my parents took over tool manufacturing and grinding from parent company KMWE and continued independently, but still with KMWE in the name. A few years ago, KGS Tools also became part of the business. Now that my sister Marlon and I have taken over the company, we thought it was a nice and natural time to change the name; a new generation, a new name."

Concerned

In addition to the Toolmanagers name, the logo and corporate identity have also changed. The company's three core values are now also clearly reflected. "Committed, reliable and progressive not only apply to how we interact internally as a family business and how we work, but it also sums up well what we want to mean to our customers and suppliers," Jorg states.

Trusted

Not much will change for customers, suppliers and employees, by the way, except a new name on the facade at Croy 24 in Eindhoven and a different name on the invoice. Jorg: "We have long been working under one roof, being one company, but with different services. We remain the trusted point of contact in tool making, grinding and sales, only with a fresh new name."

Experience

The unveiling of the new name and logo already took place last weekend in front of clients, suppliers and the 43 colleagues. During the festivities, farewells were also said to father Corné Michiels and mother Margaretha Michiels, who are leaving Toolmanagers after 45 years of work, including 33 years as owner. "Although they will still be involved, my father as advisor and my mother supports in HR tasks. My sister and I are grateful for the freedom we get to run the company the way we want, but it is nice and fun to still spar with them and be able to fall back on their experience when needed," Jorg concludes.
