Clash of the Grinders: The ultimate grinding competition for metalworkers

Metalworkers beware! A unique event is taking place this fall that you won't want to miss: Clash of the Grinders. This exciting competition, organized by Metaaltechniek in cooperation with 3M and Metavak, provides a stage for the best grinders in the Netherlands to showcase their skills and compete for the title of best grinder.

What is Clash of the Grinders?

Clash of the Grinders is the competition in which grinders from various companies compete against each other in various grinding tasks. The winner is the one who completes the tasks the fastest and in the best way. The event will take place from Tuesday, October 7 to Thursday, October 9, 2025 in the Evenementenhal Gorinchem.

Why participate?

Participating in Clash of the Grinders offers numerous benefits. It is a great opportunity to showcase your grinding skills to the metalworking Benelux and measure yourself against the best grinders in the industry. Moreover, it is an excellent opportunity to make new contacts and expand your network. Each day there are two competition rounds with four participants per round, and at the end of each day a day winner is declared.

How can you participate?

Signing up for Clash of the Grinders is easy. Go to the registration page on the Metaaltechniek website and fill out the registration form. Registration is free, but be quick because the number of participants is limited. You'll hear in early June whether you've secured a spot at the competition table, and we'll be in touch personally in September to schedule and classify everyone.

What to expect.

In addition to the exciting grinding competitions, Clash of the Grinders also offers a great fair experience. Supporters are welcome and can come along for free to visit the fair. The event is a perfect opportunity to discover the latest innovations and products in the metalworking industry. There are several booths and demonstrations where you can learn more about working more efficiently and saving costs.
