  • Benelux is represented by nineteen participating companies
  • Registration link for free entrance ticket for visitors

From September 18 to 23, Hanover will be the setting for EMO Hannover 2023. The global trade fair for metalworking and production technology is once again buzzing with innovation. Over 1,800 companies will be presenting visitors next month with a sampling of the latest developments the sector has to offer.

From predictive maintenance, process monitoring and the Internet of Things (IoT) to applications on the cutting edge of smart data and machine learning, anyone who wants to know what developments are taking place in metalworking cannot miss a visit to EMO Hannover 2023. All major manufacturers will present themselves in Hannover in September. The number of visitors who have already registered an entrance ticket shows that there is great interest in the fair. Under the banner of the theme Innovate Manufacturing, the fair is divided into three megatopics: The Future of Business, The Future of Connectivity and The Future of Sustainability.

Future of Business

EMO Hannover is the innovation and knowledge platform for machines, solutions and services in metalworking. Not only for technology, but also for organizational and production strategies. The Future of Business topic focuses on new business markets and models. Here EMO Hannover acts as a platform for knowledge transfer that focuses not only on technology, but also on organizational strategies and methods, such as shaping major changes in working methods, technology, sustainable production and the organization of production and business processes.

Future of Connectivity

Software and IT engineering are key factors for successful manufacturing technology, and data mining offers opportunities for new production methods. The Future of Connectivity provides a platform to developments affecting aspects of Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), predictive maintenance, machine learning, connectivity and artificial intelligence.

Umati: universal communication standard

EMO further focuses on umati (short for: 'universal machine tool interface'). This communication standard ensures that machine tools from different manufacturers can communicate, via a neutral and open link, with each other and with underlying IT systems. With umati (developed by a group of prominent German machine tool manufacturers and all major control system providers), an important prerequisite for success in smart industry is met: good connectivity.

Future of Sustainability

The Future of Sustainability is focused on the integration of sustainability. Here, participating companies present their solutions for resource-saving, climate-neutral production and factory planning. For circular economy in manufacturing, for energy-efficient production, for sustainable supply chains and for safe working environments.

Special focus on additive manufacturing

Improved efficiency, material savings and enormous design freedom: Additive Manufacturing (better known as 3D printing) is on the rise within the metalworking industry. During EMO, visitors can learn about a complete process chain of additive manufacturing. What applications does AM have in sectors such as the automotive and aircraft industry, mechanical engineering and medical technology? Not for nothing do diverse parties - system providers, material suppliers, software developers, manufacturers of 3D scanners and production service providers - like to show what they have to offer in this field during EMO.

Benelux at EMO Hannover 2023

The Benelux is represented by nineteen companies, active in areas such as additive manufacturing, CNC automation, geometric measurement technology and surface channel technology. The Dutch participants are: Additive Industries, BMO Automation, Cellro, DoAll Europe, FPT-VIMAG, Globe Europe, Greenleaf Europe, Halter CNC Automation, IHI Hauzer Techno Coating, Hembrug Machine Tools, Mayfran International, Oxycom Fresh Air, Schut Geometric Measurement Technology, SCT Tools, Style CNC Machines and TXOne Networks. From Belgium and Luxembourg, CECIMO (European Association of Manufacturing Technologies), RoboJob and Rotarex Firetec are participating. Are you interested in visiting EMO Hannover 2023?
